Anytime I can get my hands on Aloha Eats, I am one happy camper! Shared some of my favorites with my daughter because we are huge fans of this authentic Hawaiian food stop. We could not wait to gobble up awesome warm fresh spam musubi, salacious barbecue chicken plate with perfectly made macaroni salad, two scoops of perfectly cooked rice plus pork Katsu and teriyaki minced beef. More than enough for second helpings/leftovers. What a gem in Lakeview! Wish you would deliver or have a second location in South Loop! But I'll be back soon!

Love finding Hawaiian food in the city!! We got the bbq beef and pork katsu combo which comes with two scoops of rice and Mac salad, spam katsu musubi, and hurricane fries. It was $20 and we had plenty of leftovers. Definitely have some water handy because this is quite a salty meal. Overall, very good value

We were shopping nearby and stopped in for a lunch. We ordered Loco Moco, Hurricane Fries, and Mochiko Chicken. All dishes were nicely prepared and tasted good, but the Hurricane Fries were a tad too salty with the combo of sauce and furikake seasoning. The Mochiko Chicken did have a resemblance of chewy mochi, but it felt like it was missing something/seasoning. The chicken could've easily been dry, but it wasn't and it actually helped balance with the fries. My bf enjoyed the Loco Moco and commented how it's hard to find. Before ordering, they did warn the kitchen was a bit backed up. It's a small restaurant and most tables were occupied, but we realized they were also managing takeout orders. So, just be aware if you're in a hurry.

My favorite Hawaiian food in all of Chicago! I always get their Kalbi and chicken katsu combo meal. It comes with two scoops of white rice and a scoop of their amazing macaroni salad. My wife loves their loco moco (mini pictured). We also get the spam musubi which is probably overkill but we like it so much. Rarely get the opportunity to make it to Lakeview these days, but we def stop by when we are in the are

One of my favorite Hawaiian food spot in Lakeview! Their mini loco moco, featuring a juicy burger patty over fluffy white rice topped with eggs and savory gravy, is my absolute favorite. The side of macaroni is simply delicious too. They offer generous portions and a diverse menu selection, all enjoyed in a charming indoor seating area. Tasted the Katsu chicken too and it was so delicious. Perfect for a taste of Hawaii right here in the city!

I was staying at hostel nearby and found this place have good reviews. I placed an order online for delivery, I had their BBQ beef place with rice, mac, and bean. This plate had lots of good reviews, was expecting good quality, however, when I tried it, it tasted just okay.. little bit disappointed as the meat wasn't tender, and juicy, it was like more seasoned , salted.. wouldn't try again.

I stopped by for a quick dinner after work. The chicken is a bit salty but the food is overall really good and filling! The macaroni salad was creamy & hittin for me. I would come back again! The staff was also really informed and kind too!

Holy portion size! It's been several years since I have visited Hawaii, and my first time at Aloha Eats, I couldn't wait to try a taste of Hawaii! I got the Chicken Katsu Loco, I appreciated that they serve for the gravy on the side for me! Huge portion, I could not finish it all. I also got Spam Musubi! Both great choices, next visit I want to try a bbq plate. Smaller place but friendly service, we will be back in the future! My 2 year old daughter was dancing around to the island music they had on, it was so cute!
